Frogs in a Basket is a term I came up with while teaching. What it means is that riding is like having a basket of frogs. When you are working on one thing then something else starts to fall apart. For example you are working on keeping the hands from moving and then you find that your horse has slowed down because you are looking at your hands. In other words you get one frog in the basket and then another one jumps out. It's such a fun analogy that my students, children and adults alike seem to enjoy.

On this page you will find training and horsemanship tips. Regularly I will be updating tips not just for the horse, but also the rider. I will answer any questions you may have and post them on this page. If I'm unable to answer certain questions I will try to find someone who can. For any questions you may have please e-mail me.
