Dressage World Cup
The Dressage World Cup April 20th - 23rd held in Las Vegas. Usually being held in Europe this is not something you get to see every year. I will be doing a daily report of the results and of the events of the day. If this is not possible due to internet connections I will be doing a full report upon my return. April 20th is a warm-up day where you are able to watch the rider's train. I will be attempting to acquire a ticket to this when I arrive. When I bought my tickets to the show there were none available at that time. This will be a very exciting show. I can't wait to see some of the top riders from around the world. Check back for full reports.

Wednesday, April 20 Today was the warm-up day. This was a great opportunity to view the riders working and schooling their horses. There was also a change in the competitor line-up. Isabell Werth of Germany riding Anthony withdrew so the Canadian rider Evi Strasser riding Quantum Tyme received the spot.
Thursday, April 21 This was the first day of competition. The Grand Prix. The riders were vying
for a spot in the final. Only the top 12 riders moved on. The 6 riders that did
not qualify rode in the Grand Prix Kur-B Final. Grand Prix Results
Friday, April 22 Today was an Invitational Grand Prix for 5 riders. Originally there were going to be 6 riders, but Evi Strasser was selected to compete in the World Cup. The Grand Prix Kur-B Final went on today. Even though these riders did not qualify for the final is was still very stiff competition. Offield Las Vegas Invitational
